Last hours of this full of surprises 2012. The biggest one is definitely the one that still occupies my belly. In a few days the baby will make her debut in the world! Her room is furnished and already full of gifts (no need to say that at Christmas she was the protagonist), grandparents and uncles are ready for the countdown, daddy has put the champagne in the fridge… and what about the mom? Mom is a bit anxious for the birth. Not so much for the pain, but for the unknown bound to a such strong and memorable experience. I’m used to plan everything to the smallest detail, so this adventure disorients me. In short, “I have studied well” on paper… however I’m sure the right moment will take me unprepared. Luckily I can count on the other half of this winning team, a husband experienced in improvisation! I will listen to him who is ready, stopwatch in hand, to calculate contractions and pauses. Apart from a little understandable apprehension, the strongest feeling that binds the whole family is curiosity. An almost palpable curiosity. Followed by endless questions about how the child will be, how her voice and her perfume will be, how we will feel the first time she will look at us… in some days each of this question will at last have an answer!
